With over 25 years of expertise in finance, real estate, and healthcare, Joshua Lambert has a proven track record of successfully managing business startups, including growing his most recent venture to over $80M before exiting in 2021. His leadership, strategic vision, and international exposure uniquely position him to drive high-end real estate projects. Joshua’s extensive experience and forward-thinking approach are instrumental to the mission and success of South Foundry Ventures.
Joshua has played a pivotal role in facilitating over $800 million in real estate transactions throughout his career, including a substantial portion during his tenure as an executive at Countrywide Financial, now a part of Bank of America.
He is committed to fostering long-term wealth creation for his clients, blending integrity with meticulous diligence to safeguard their capital while ensuring consistent, sustainable growth with above market returns.
Currently, Joshua actively contributes to all facets of development, operations, and fund growth at South Foundry.

Partner & Managing Principal George W. McLaughlin, Sr. brings over 25 years of deep expertise in the development, acquisition, and operation of real estate, food and beverage, hospitality, multifamily housing, and senior living sectors. He began his career as part of the Founding of McAlister’s Deli, Inc., where he played a crucial role in establishing the brand before transitioning to the franchise side, resulting in a successful exit to private equity. Following his tenure at McAlister’s, George co-founded Whitehall Development, a private real estate firm that specializes in commercial developments from Charleston, SC to Houston, TX. He has also launched several successful food and beverage businesses in South Carolina, including the Vicious Biscuit Restaurant Group and Bottles Beverage Superstore, the state's leading retailer of wine and spirits. At South Foundry, George is instrumental in overseeing the company’s development initiatives, operational strategies, and fund growth efforts.
Partner & Managing Principal Thomas E. Schipper is a seasoned expert in the fields of real estate development and capital markets, with over 20 years of experience across diverse sectors including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and hospitality. As a co-founder of Whitehall Development, he has successfully launched and managed multiple enterprises in senior living, healthcare, and hospitality throughout the Southeastern United States, including South Foundry Ventures. His leadership has played a pivotal role in numerous horizontal and vertical real estate developments. Prior to establishing Whitehall, Thomas co-founded Pacific Gateway Capital, a multifamily office that focuses on investments and operational excellence in both the USA and China. At Pacific Gateway, he oversaw direct investments and operational strategies for various healthcare, pharmaceutical, and hospitality ventures in China. Currently, Thomas actively contributes to all facets of development, operations, and fund growth at South Foundry.
